It seems as though Elizabeth has been organizing and simplifying all her life. As a child and teen she was never comfortable having friends over as it was usually disorganized and extremely cluttered. She adds: “When dates picked me up, I would makes sure it was at a friend’s house. And when it was time to go home, I’d choose a place that was beautifully cared for and ask to be let out. I would then wait for him to drive away before heading to my real house!”

Her grandfather was famous for buying and collecting everything. There was so much stuff in his basement and bedroom that it was difficult to walk through! As children mimic what they see, Elizabeth admits she was a compulsive shopper, had 2 storage lockers, unused items with sales tags still attached and no white space in any home she’s lived in. Because of her past experience, Elizabeth has great empathy for those who feel overwhelmed with their clutter and freely admits to: “been there, done that”.
